How to Create Android Emulator without Android Studio - Android Emulator on Window easy way

Need Emulator for your mobile development?

I believe that you are looking for the way to setup Android emulator without Android Studio for your android development on Visual Studio Code or other. Well you are come the right place. I've a person who research on this too and finally I can find a way to make it work and I also try to put more easy way to setup. Let's get start with some steps below.
 

1. Download file by link below

Download Android Emulator

 After downloaded you can extract it and see some directories (cmdline-tools, haxm-windows_v7_6_1, JDK).



2. Install Haxm Window

Open directory haxm-windows_v7_6_1 and install it by double click on intelhaxm-android

3. Move Android Emulator Directory to the place you need to store



You can move to any directory but I recommend to move it to drive C (see image above) for easy add configurations fit with my configurations below.

4. Add System Environment 

Open System property and click edit environment variables


4.1 Add Variables


ANDROID_HOME = C:\Android Emulator

 ANDROID_SDK_ROOT = C:\Android Emulator\cmdline-tools\tools

 JAVA_HOME = C:\Android Emulator\JDK\makarablue-jdk

 4.2 Add Path

Select Path and Click Edit


C:\Android Emulator
C:\Android Emulator\cmdline-tools\tools
C:\Android Emulator\cmdline-tools\tools\bin

5. Setup on CMD 

Open cdm and go to Android Emulator Path

Leave commands below :
You can choose android 29 or 30 
notice : mbEmulator it is a name of your emulator you can put any name
//Install android 29

sdkmanager "platforms;android-29"
sdkmanager "system-images;android-29;google_apis;x86_64”
sdkmanager “platform-tools"
sdkmanager --licenses
sdkmanager "build-tools;29.0.0"
avdmanager create avd -f --name mbEmulator --package "system-images;android-29;google_apis;x86_64"
cd emulator
emulator -avd mbEmulator

//Install android 30

sdkmanager "platforms;android-30"
sdkmanager "system-images;android-30;google_apis;x86_64”
sdkmanager “platform-tools"
sdkmanager --licenses
sdkmanager "build-tools;30.0.0"
avdmanager create avd -f --name mbEmulator --package "system-images;android-30;google_apis;x86_64"
cd emulator
emulator -avd mbEmulator


Congratulation!!! you have an android emulator now
